Stars and Cents started the way the best things do — with a kid's idea that nobody could say no to.

When our 7-year-old daughter decided she wanted to make candles, we figured we'd give it a try. One batch turned into two, two turned into a hundred, and somewhere along the way a hobby became a family business. Today, Stars and Cents is a true family operation — built from scratch, run with love, and still sparked by that same little girl's curiosity.

As longtime silver collectors, we knew we wanted to create something that reflected what we love. That's how our Silver Coin Candle line was born — every jar contains a piece of real US silver currency, hidden inside a clean-burning 100% soy candle. When the wax burns down, the coin is yours to keep. For us, it's personal. These aren't props — they're the real thing, chosen by people who genuinely love silver.

We take sourcing seriously. About 90% of our supplies are sourced right here in the United States, because it matters to us to support American makers wherever we can. Every candle, wax melt, and bar of soap is handcrafted with care — no shortcuts, no mass production.
